Recommendation widget is not appearing in IE and FireFox

We implemented Coveo Machine Learning recommendation where-in page view event tracking is happening and we are seeing the recommendations showing up in a .Net web page.

But surprisingly, for some users recommendation widget itself is not appearing in IE and FireFox. For the same user it shows up in Chrome. Anyone came across this? How to fix this?

Had discussion with Support team and here is the answer I got.

It seems to be expected behaviour until the machine learning in place. Machine learning uses the "actionsHistory" to provide recommendations, these will differ in different browsers for the same users and for different users based on the pages previously visited for the respective browsers.

You can compare yourself using the consoles in the respective browsers. It is a known limitation that machine learning recommendations are hard to properly test in sandbox because of the limited UA data there.

If you want to get an idea of the recommendations that you would get in production prior to going live you can call the recommendation pipeline with a REST call such as:
