How to handle Chatter feed items and comments in Salesforce Community

In my search results, when filtered to Chatter results I get two types of results - on one hand I get some with the post title displayed - the link for these tend to work. On the other hand I get a URL posted and these tend to link to an "invalid page" error.

I'm looking for some advice on how to either make the url type ones better or get rid of them entirely - they're clearly providing no value in the results.

Which package are you using, free, express or enterprise?

You can try changing the result template's ResultLink component using the interface editor, you can find a description of the result template components here .

After having selected the component that is providing the UrlLink (usualy, the ResultLink), you can modify its options or simply replace the component for another one that suits your needs.

Let us know if you have any questions in regards to the UI Editor and the components you can use for your Chatter Post result template.

On looking further in to this it looks as though the results that direct to an invalid page are actually from our internal chatter pages - is there a way to exclude these from the results?

Hi @gminero - the record exists, just in our internal Chatter rather than in the groups in our external community - I think a need a way to exclude results from our internal Chatter.
