Required back-end files to move from development to production?

Which back-end files are required to be copied in order to replicate development indexing to production?

Hi,

I would copy the entire CES7 folder and all the custom solutions that you have associated with it. The Log folder is not needed and I would also get rid of the content of the certificate folder (except for the config.key, it you have one). Also delete the config.bin

Make sure that you stop the service before moving anything and if you have multiple slices or mirrors, I would contact coveo support.

Thanks.

To clarify my question: if the production environment already exists and the intent is to update it, i.e. to update mapping, conversions scripts, custom fields, etc. - which folders/files need to copied over?

Well it all depends on where you store these scripts and files. You might also need to change the path specified in them. I would contact Coveo support for this operation.
