Did you always have this error or it is recent? Did you change any of the configuration? Did you change firewall rules? If you enter the AdminService URI in a browser, what do you get? If you enter the SearchService URI in a browser, what do you get?

I uninstalled and reinstalled the CES and the error did not turn up for some time. Now when i changed my windows log on password again the same error is coming up. I have given my log-on credentials when installing CES. Now even if i change the password in the Service-properties and start the service, the service is running but the error is still showing up? Any suggestions on how to tackle this.

Installing CES with your user credentials is not recommended. You would have a better setup if you install and run CES components with a service account with a password that never changes.
