re-installing Sitecore package causes a NullReferenceException

Hi, I am re-installing SiteCore package and i`m getting this error. Any idea?

Did you upgrade? What was your previous release? What is your new release?

You probably have new DLLs with an old configuration file. Depending on the versions you should have disabled the Coveo.SearchProvider.config file prior to upgrade to avoid this error.

You need to merge your old Coveo.SearchProvider.config file with the new Coveo.SearchProvider.config.example file to fix the issue.

i upgraded from the December build but honestly, it never work on this server. I have another issue but I will post another question. Thanks jflheureux!

It is a good practice to disable the Coveo search provider config files, it will avoid this type of problem.

Would also add - this can also happen when your index is in "read-only" mode. I've only seen read-only mode when our machines/vms get to less than 5GB.
