Coveo License upgrade

I am running Coveo 7, my license going to be expired soon. I just got the new license code as text in email and looking forward to upgrade the license. Please advice the steps to ugrade the license without effecting my Production time. Do I need to rebuild Coveo or need any changes in code?

Got a an error when I click: Configuration -> License

Catastrophic failure (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8000FFFF (E_UNEXPECTED))

Hi,

For Coveo Enteprise search, the license upgrade procedure is described here: http://onlinehelp.coveo.com/en/ces/7.0/Administrator/enteringanewlicensecode.htm

It should not affect your production setup but I would still advise not to do it while Coveo is serving a lot of users.

For Coveo for Sitecore, refer to this documentation: https://developers.coveo.com/display/public/SC201501/Updating+the+Coveo+for+Sitecore+License
