Item DisplayName

Hello Mighty Developers, We use the displayName on our item for the urls. I added a search page and I called it recherche. Can I change/alter the Coveo Search Page MVC to add the DisplayName? I need this for page url and page Title.

Many Thanks!

If I understand your use case correctly, you want the title element of the head element to have the search page item display Name. I think this is already the case. You can look at the SearchViewLayout.cshtml file to confirm.

Thanks for the reply! This is not what I want. We are using a technique like this : http://www.sitecore.net/Learn/Blogs/Technical-Blogs/John-West-Sitecore-Blog/Posts/2013/02/Sitecore-Idiosyncrasies-Display-Name.aspx to use the display name for the url. So I would get the same item (/recherche and /search) to resolve to the same item. But i need access to modify the display name. I can't see this in the default search page parameters. How can I modify page field?

The Coveo Search Parameters template is meant to be used as parameters for a Coveo Search component. Normally, a Coveo Search component is included as a sublayout/rendering of a Sitecore item such as a Coveo Search Page or Coveo Search Page (MVC) item.

The __Display name should be set on this item. To set it in Sitecore, you just need to click on the Display Name button of the ribbon Home tab in the Content Editor as explained in this tutorial: http://www.geekhive.com/buzz/post/2014/11/how-to-name-items-in-sitecore-cms
