Facet alpha ascending sort with all facet items in group with all search results considered

Hi, I am using jsframeworks. Is there a way to configure the facets to sort alpha ascending so that all the search results are considered before facet items are displayed. E.g. I would like all the 'A's to show first then all the 'B's and so forth. Not a random sample of facet items returned and sorted alpha ascending.

Thanks.

The index does not load *all* facet values in memory for a given query, only the most relevant one to your result set.

You can crank up the injection depth on your facet(s) so that more (or all) facet values are loaded in memory when doing your query.

Be aware that this most certainly has a negative performance impact, as the index as to do more work.

You can set it on your facet with data-injection-depth='100000'

Hi Olamothe,

I tried "data-injection-depth", but it didn't work. Was wondering if you have any other idea.

Thanks!
