How can you backup a Coveo license?

I'm planning to update the Coveo license on our production servers. Before I do, I wanted to take a backup of the existing license (I don't have access to the original license email) just in case something went haywire. I know I'm probably being a bit crazy, but I'd rather have a copy, just in case. I can't find any documentation on how the license is stored or how to back it up. Is it possible to backup an existing license?

The license file is under \Program Files\Coveo Enterprise Search 7\Instance, simply copy the text file from there.

This is the CES license.

If you also have Coveo for Sitecore, there is another license in your Sitecore instance data folder named "coveolicense.xml".
