Buckets are not being pickedup

Standard product installed. That all works fine. Buckets are being indexed, all good.

Now they did the same on the customer database and now it seems buckets are not picked up.

They user Sitecore v7.5

Any clue? Any clue how to troubleshoot?

If they ever installed an older version, validate the web service that is currently installed. You can enable log4net in Sitecore for the Coveo namespace to see why they are not getting indexed.

Bucket Folders are by default excluded from search results in the "Coveo Search" component options but bucket folders and items should be always indexed.

Did you check in the Index Browser to confirm that the bucket items are not indexed? Did you check the Sitecore logs to see if there's any error while the indexing is running for those items?

Sorry, only bucket folder items are excluded. The option to query for them is in the Coveo Search control parameters.
