Disable indexing all fields

In Coveo for Sitecore, I tried disable indexing all fields and enable indexing only the fields only I want.

I set <IndexAllFields>false</IndexAllFields>

and included the fields I want as follows:

<include hint="list:IncludeField">
    <fieldId>{8CDC337E-A112-42FB-BBB4-4143751E123F}</fieldId>
</include>

This did not work , it did not index anything. Any ideas what is missing?

Did you add more than one field in the <include> section? If you did, did you choose a unique element name for each of them of you used <fieldId> for all of them? Each field must have a unique element name in these sections.
