Hi Team,

Im upgrading Coveo for Sitecore 72 3.0 (1026).zip since i have upgraded sitecore version 7.0 to 7.2 update - 4.

Im getting the below error when i install the Coveo for Sitecore 72 3.0 (1026).zip.

Method 'GetFieldConfigurationByFieldTypeName' in type 'Coveo.Framework.Fields.CoveoFieldMap' from assembly 'Coveo.Framework, Version=3.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' does not have an implementation.

Thanks in advance.

Could you please help me to resolve this?

This is probably because the Coveo.Framework.dll did not update. You still have the old dll. Try re-installing the package.

You said you were upgrading from 7.0 to 7.2. Did you tried to upgrade directly from a 70 version prior to 1026 to Coveo for Sitecore 72 3.0 (1026).zip or you upgraded to the Coveo for Sitecore 72 version that matched your 7.0 version, then upgraded to 1026?

Thanks for your responses. Let me try reinstall the package by disable coveo config and enable lucene. I will keep you posted on this if i still get error.

You seem to have problems installing a package in Sitecore. I think your upgrade from Sitecore 7.0 to 7.2 is missing some upgrade steps or that the security on your Sitecore instance folder is not correctly set. We are not expert in Sitecore upgrades nor Sitecore security. I suggest you to contact Sitecore support or post your question on the Sitecore Community website to resolve this problem first.

If you upgrade from a very old monthly version of Coveo for Sitecore, it is recommended to disable the Coveo configuration files and re-enable the Lucene configuration files prior to installing the new package to avoid errors like this. Then, after the new installation is done, compare your old Coveo configuration files with the new ".example" ones and merge your custom settings in the new ones before removing the ".example" extension to them.

I hope this helps you upgrading.
