Using special(Nordic) characters in thesaurus

Hi

I'm doing a coveoproject for a customer. The issue is that we in Denmark have a city called Aarhus. But many will search for this with Århus, because they changed this a couple of years ago.

Coveo does not listen to this when i make this in the thesaurus xml:

<mapping keyword="Ã¥rhus" type="or">
  <synonyms>
    <synonym value="aarhus"/>
  </synonyms>
</mapping>

I tested with horse and dog and that works fine. So i think it must be the "Ã¥" that is the problem here?

Have anyone had trobules like this, and found a solution?

I have been able to reproduce this. It seems that the thesaurus has trouble normalizing "Ã¥rhus". If you enter "arhus" as keyword instead, it will work - even for users who search for "Ã¥rhus".

Thanks for the tip!

I needed to add both århus and arhus, to make it work, but now i get the same results for each search.
