port 8081 conflict

I installed Coveo locally on my pc, and found a port conflict on 8081:

• Coveo Admin • McAfee Agent

How do I change the port to, say, 8082?

Port 8081 is used by the Coveo Enterprise Search Administration Tool. You can change its port in Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager. The website is named "Coveo Enterprise Search 7 Admin". You just need to edit the bindings of the website and change the port from there.

When doing this, the start menu shortcut to open the CES Administration Tool will not work anymore unless you edit its properties to change the port there too.

You need to change the properties of the "Start Menu > All Programs > Coveo Enterprise Search 7 > Administration Tool" link. Is it what you are looking for @meetprabhum?

My issue got fixed by changing the port number from 52800 to 62800 in the config file and restarted the CES services. thanks @jflheureux
