sitecore: Indexing extract html content using AD credentials

Hi all,

When using the Sitecore connector, is it possible to extract html content from Sitecore using AD credentials?

Our site is an intranet site which is not available to anonymous users, only to internal users who are authenticated thorough AD. I want to be able to extract html content for part of the website to expose a different set of data to the Coveo engine as opposed to users. I cannot see a way to pass AD credentials through the hidden params.

To work around this issue for the time being, we've turned on anonymous access to that part of the site. This is causing us issues when normal users hit that part of the website so I'm trying to work out if there's a better/different way of doing this.

Thanks in advance.

With the Sitecore 2 Connector, you might want to check the EnableNTLMAuthentication parameter.

This is the solution for Sitecore 2 with AD Module in your Sitecore instance. It is way easier to extract HTML content with Coveo for Sitecore though.
