Excerpt - Coveo Sitecore Linq

In linq (Coveo for Sitecore) when we use a generic inheriting from the Sitecore ContentSearch SearchResult class, how does one get the Excerpt? It's not an index field, it's dynamically generated by Coveo. Is there an attribute to use in our search result model that can get us the excerpt back for each result item?

Did a bunch of searching in the Coveo community and couldn't find anything.

The excerpt is generated by Coveo when a query is returned and is thus not a Sitecore field. Therefore, the excerpt cannot be accessed by Coveo for Sitecore LINQ directly because its based on Sitecore field.

In the most recent version of the product, December 2015, ther's no extension that would allow one to extract the Excerpt using Linq.

We're currently in the process of evaluating this new feature to be included in a future realease of Coveo for Sitecore. We do not have an ETA for this at the moment.
