Is Extracting Contents from inside documents supported for Coveo Cloud?

I found support documentation for Coveo Platform, but cannot find anything on it for the Cloud. Documentation referenced below. How can I index the contents of a document, primarily pdf files that are already searchable when you open them, so that Coveo will display the contents of the docs and not just the properties in its results for the Cloud product? Thank you

The cloud version supports most document types (such as PDF) of the coveo platform. The content of the file should be also available through the quickview.

Does that answer your question ? Do you have any followup question ?

Unfortunately that is not correct. The contents of the pdf are not indexed with the Coveo Cloud product, via quickview or any other method.

Since this does not appear to be currently supported by Coveo, the question is what is the best way to extract the contents of a pdf to put in a different source that can be indexed in one of the supported sourcetypes, https://onlinehelp.coveo.com/en/cloud/availablecoveocloudsourcetypes.htm

thank you
