Coveo for Sitecore Upgrade to 1266: Cannot get the security provider from the Admin Service
We recently upgraded our Coveo for Sitecore from 3.0.1116.0 to 3.0.1266.0. After the upgrade we received the following warnings in the Sitecore Logs.
ManagedPoolThread #12 14:21:53 INFO Using existing source '[Index] - [Provider Name]'.
ManagedPoolThread #12 14:21:53 WARN Cannot get the security provider ID from the Admin Service. Please make sure Coveo Enterprise Search is up-to-date. You may need to update the source manually to use the correct security provider.
ManagedPoolThread #12 14:21:54 INFO Coveo requirements have been updated. Update will be suspended until further changes or application restart.
The provider defined in the Coveo Configuration on Sitecore and the provider in CES match.
Is there a need to also update CES to a later version or is Coveo Enterprise Search 7.0 x64 (7814) for Sitecore still compatible with this later version of Coveo for Sitecore?
Your Coveo Enterprise Search instance is August 2015, while you are using Coveo for Sitecore March 2016.
The two need to be in sync at all time. You can find the download links here:
