Installing Coveo for Sitecore 4 Cloud Edition CM/CD Configuration

In step 3 of the installation instructions it says the following paths are relative to the "configuration/sitecore/coveo" node. For step 3a, this value does not exist in the CM already, can I specify my own value for it? For step 3b, it seems that this element should actually go under "sitecore/contentSearch/configuration/indexes" not "configuration/sitecore/coveo". Is that a mistake in the instructions?

I am currently stuck trying to get the CD to resolve the coveo/rest endpoint correctly and think it is due to this. Also step 2 says to open "Coveo.SearchProvider.Custom.config" which is originally set to "Coveo.SearchProvider.Custom.config.example" and "Coveo.SearchProvider.config.example" is also not enabled.

Hi,

You are right, there are some steps that are not 100% correct in this documentation. Thank you very much for reporting it. I am currently reviewing it. I will let you know when the modifications will be public.

I just published a new version of that procedure. Many steps have changed to simplify the setup. Please read it again and execute it on your instances. Let me know if you encounter any other problems.

I have followed the new instructions and am still facing a similar error and /coveo/rest is still not resolving correctly.

That's probably due to something else. I tried the steps while updating the procedure and it worked very well.

I recommend you to open a support ticket sending them your showconfig.aspx and Coveo for Sitecore configuration files. The support agents will be able to look at your configuration files and find the problem.
