Home can I customizing search results from Javascript Search UI

Hello

I am new to the coveo Javascript Search UI. I have an installation that works. I downloaded the coveo-search-ui-v1.1276.21 from that coveo provides on github. Now, I want to customize my search result so that I can display some custom fields that I have configured in my search collections. Can you guys point where to look for this information? does anyone have sample code thaey can share ?

Thanks

Hi,

I suggest that you take a look at the Getting Started guide on developers.

Important things to know when you start using the JS Search UI are:

  1. How to configure your search endpoint.
  2. The concept of Coveo component (explained in the getting started guide) Components available.
  3. How to configure the way your results are being displayed / Result templates.

A thing you could do to help yourself learning, is playing with the samples available in the repository ([repository root]/pages).

If you would like something more specific, feel free to ask other questions.

Thank you ! this is exactly what I am looking for. However I didn't find the [repository root]/pages). Which package is it on?

On the github, not the package. In the package, I thing it's at the root, I'm not sure. Look for a page called All.html.
