How to format search box

I am adding a search box, much like the one on this page.

My questions:

  1. Center div. I added the style to the div (see below), but it does not change to center justified.
  2. Add a placeholder to the search "Search for content"
  3. Add support type-ahead (not "data-enable-search-as-you-type"). So when the user starts typing they see related searches. Is this only possible in 2.41 or higher (See https://developers.coveo.com/display/public/SalesforceV2/Including+the+Standalone+Searchbox+in+Your+Community)?

<div align="center" style="width:600px; margin-bottom:10px; margin-top:-30px;">

I have coveo for salesfroce 2.33

Are you trying to do this in a Lightning community or directly in a Visualforce page?

If you are trying to do this in a community, you are encouraged to update to the 2.41 or later version of the package so you can easily insert the Standalone Searchbox component instead. The download link can be found directly in the release notes (see May 2017 Release - v2.41).

Thanks.

What about the div center question?
