How to present search analytics from Coveo

Hi:
This is a little weird question. We are using Coveo for the past 8 months. We get so much data from search behavior (total query count, query clicks, content gap) to content utilization (clicks) from different source and also case deflection. I am struggling on how to group the data with user flow and present it to the upper management in just one or two slides. I kind of prefer to see over the period of time. I was wondering if anybody would share their ideas?
Thanks

Hi @Nita.

Good question. Currently, there is no OOTB graph or tool within Coveo Analytics to create a user flow analysis. That being said, there is a workaround.

The first step is using the "Visit Bowser" in the Coveo Admin Panel. Once you've set the appropriate filters & date range, per your use case, you can hit the export button at the top right of the page.

The second step is to use Excel/Python or whatever data manipulation tool you are most comfortable with and to group this data per "Visit Id". Once done, identify the first, second, third, etc. event of each visit and segment per Event Value or Origin 1/2, depending on what you are looking for. The event value will tell you what your users are doing in your org, whereas the origins will tell you where they are.

The third step is to visualize this analysis. I recommend using a Sankey Diagram to do so: https://plot.ly/python/sankey-diagram/. This will help showcase your results visually.

Hope this helps!
