Installing Coveo for Sitecore 72 3.0 (863) - Could not find property 'Hostname'...

Hi, I'm trying to install Coveo for Sitecore 72 3.0 (863) on a Sitecore that already have Coveo for Sitecore 72 3.0 (742).

The installation failed with this error message : Could not find property 'Hostname' on object of type: Coveo.Framework.Configuration.RestEndpointConfiguration.

Any idea about this case ? Thank you.

Since you are upgrading from the beta build of Coveo for Sitecore, you need to execute the upgrade steps of each release between the beta release and the December 2014 release. You can do then all at once while installing the December 2014 release:

  1. Upgrading Coveo for Sitecore from the September 2014 to the October 2014 release.
  2. Upgrading Coveo for Sitecore from the October 2014 to the November 2014 release.
  3. Upgrading Coveo for Sitecore from the November 2014 to the December 2014 release.

You don't need to install the October 2014 and November 2014 releases of Coveo for Sitecore before installing the December 2014 release. You just need to perform all their pre-upgrade and post-upgrade steps while installing the December 2014 release.

The previous releases packages can be found in the "Installing Coveo for Sitecore on a Single Host" documentation page of each release space on developers.coveo.com
