Partial word or letter search

Hi ,

How does Coveo handle partial word or single letter searches? I know that you guys have a correction method and display "did you mean [blah]" when you find a word that is close to the keyword.

Some example results from one of the sites we have:

"Heart" : 17 results "H" : No results "He" : 1 result "Hea" : No results "Hear": 2 results - and I get "Did you mean Heart?"

If the default behavior is full "word" search - is there a way to enable "partial" search?

Partial keyword search is "wildcard search" in our terms. This can be enabled but is disabled by default. Wildcard search is much more expensive than full word search. It takes longer to execute the queries. You can search for "wildcard" in our documentation for more information, how to enable it, etc.

Thank you - Does Coveo do stemmers and breakers and support it in a multilingual way? Would search show me results of "facilitate" as well as "facilitating" if I search for "facilitating"?

We do stemming on search terms. I don't personally know for breakers as I don't know what it is.
