How to filter index by Year

I am using Coveo 7. I don't want to system to index any files that were created prior to 2010. I tried adding an inclusion filter like this 'file://@sysdate>2010/01/01' but it doesn't work. I still get files prior to 2010 indexed in the system.

Any ideas?

The @foo>123 syntax is for use when querying only. Index time files are for restricting the indexed content based on a pattern applied to the uri. You can't filter by date at index time, but you can force the @sysdate filter to appear in your query in the search page.
