Installing Coveo in windows Server 2012 R2 Standard Issues

Hi everyone, I am trying to install Coveo in a 2012 Server. I went to "Local Users and Groups" and there I create a new coveo user and I added it to the Administrators group.

Now when I try to install coveo and I try to configured the "Service Logon Account" I am getting the following error:

"The account name is invalid or does not exists,or the password is invalid for the specified account name. Note:The secondary Logon service must be started." The installer that I am using is Coveo Enterprise Search 7.0 x64 (7914) for Sitecore.

Thanks

Hi jpalbuja,

A common error is to forget to enter the computer name in the Domain field, since the user is local to the computer and not a domain user.

Thanks @dblanchette ♦♦, I tried with a local administrator and it didnt worked. So What I did is use dedicated coveo domain user administrator and it worked correctly. The only issue that I am experimenting is that I am not able to connect using the "CES console" with my own domain administrator user. I did a Remote Desktop connection and I am not able to use the CES Console.

Any idea?

Did you make sure to add your domain administrator account to the CES Administrators in the Admin Tool?
