Search parameter fields (ex. Filter Expression Rules) hidden in Sitecore?

So I'm very new to Coveo so let me know if you need more detail. For this, I'm using Coveo for Sitecore 4 (free edition) and Sitecore 8.1 update 2.

I've been following through the instructions on this page (https://developers.coveo.com/display/public/SitecoreV4/Inserting+and+Customizing+a+Search+Interface+Component) and everything goes well up until I get to the Customizing the properties of your Search Interface section. Specifically, the fields Filter Expression Rules, Boot Expression Rules, and Automatic Boosting According to the User's Pattern are hidden. (I am able to see the Filter Results on the Current Context Language field)

I've checked the templates and they look like they should be visible. I can even copy the fields on the template and the copied fields show up, but the originals are still hidden. That leads me to believe the fields are hidden explicitly.

So, is it possible that these options aren't available to free editions? Is there something else going on?

Hi Chris,

You're right, the Free, Pro and Pro Cloud editions of Coveo for Sitecore have filtering rules, boosting rules and automatic boosting disabled. Only the Enterprise edition (only for On-Premises CES7 index) have these features enabled.

For more information on the differences between editions, refer to the Coveo website: http://www.coveo.com/en/solutions/coveo-for-sitecore/editions-pricing
