Adding field as free text Searchable is not working

I have configured coveo cloud for my sitecore application using the option Indexed Rendered HTML.

I am trying to add a field as FreeTextSearchable for example a subtitle but that doesn't seem to be working.

I am referring to this link

The link you provided is for Coveo for Sitecore 3, which is a pretty old version now and does not support Coveo Cloud at all. Use this documentation link instead for Coveo for Sitecore 4: Making a Sitecore Field Free-Text Searchable

The main difference is the file in which the fieldMap is located (`Coveo.SearchProvider.Custom.config` instead).

After setting this field, you must rebuild the index so that the new field configuration is synchronized for all documents, like mentioned in the documentation.

If you have rebuilt and it still does not work, please explain your problem and what is not working so that we can better pinpoint the issue here.

I have multi-list field which is used for tagging which stores references to other sitecore items into string values.

I need to configure it as a free text search.

I tried what is mentioned in the below link but doesn't seems to be working.

What is the solution for it
