Showing all content for anonymous users in Coveo Hive

Hi All,

I'm wanting to bypass the security for results returned for our Coveo for Sitecore Hive implementation. By default anonymous users can't see items set to "not read access" from our access viewer Sitcore view.

We want our users to be able to see all available content that is accessible, and we will handle their access to these documents via Sitecore security or other means. Is there a setting within the search interface component that we can change to enable this behavior?

To better demonstrate what I mean, I've attached an image that shows the difference between showing all content vs the default state. For anonymous users they only see 355 vs the 1,886 available. The full results are vieable after logging in as admin from the Sitecore back-end, but is is possible to show all results to anonymous users?

Thank you,

Regardless of the implementation (Legacy UI or Hive), there is a setting in Coveo for Sitecore that allows you to bypass the security.

See here: Understanding the Coveo Search Provider Configuration File - Security-Related Configuration Settings

In the `configuration/sitecore/coveo/defaultIndexConfiguration/indexPermissions` node, set the value to `false` instead of `true`.

Then, rebuild your indexes and now all the documents should be accessible to everyone.

Hope this helps, let us know if it worked for you!
