Recommendations Component on a non search page

Hi There!

https://docs.coveo.com/en/648/coveo-for-sitecore-v4/getting-recommendations

I see a bunch of instructions here on getting a good recommendations component on a page. Although all examples talk about this component to be added to a search page. Can this be added to a non-search page?

Essentially, we are trying to emulate a people who viewed this has also viewed kind of thing and would like to use this for products content type recommendations.

Is this possible to be added to a non search page?

Of course you can :)

You simply have to add the component in any page.

Don't forget to also include the Coveo Search Resources, those provide the files required for the component to work

Perfect! Thank you.

also, a side question -- When we do get results from recommendation, do, we have handler over all Sitecore Data related to that recommendation item? Do we have examples of how we can design the recommendations component to have more than just the click text for instance.

For example, we would like to have a nicely formatted widget that notes related products that from Recommendation engine and have some good imagery and details from Sitecore. How do we ensure recommendations contain this set of info or extract this information from what is in Recommendations engine. Any ideas would be helpful.
