Salesforce Chatter Permissions by group

I have a customer who is looking to index Salesforce Chatter and they asked a question and I was wondering if it was possible to accomplish.

"As I mentioned that almost all chatter groups will be configured to either Private and or Invisible as far as access is concerned for the community user. That means users will only be able to browse or post to Groups of which they are members. My question was if a user performs a search will Coveo search respect the security structure in that not to return results for posts that are related to a chatter group that the user is not a member of?"

As of today, we do support the permissions of the Chatter Collaboration Groups for Public, Private and Unlisted types, but only for Chatter Internal Users.

We are actually working on supporting the community use case. It should be available in a future release.
